Ready to contribute?
The Lost Gloves Archive is an open, growing archive. If you find a lost glove in your city and want to contribute a photograph, we want to hear from you.
How it works
The archive documents lost gloves found in urban environments around the world. Each entry is a photograph taken at the moment of discovery — a trace of a fleeting human passage.
If you find a glove and want to add it to the archive, send us a photograph along with the city and date of the find. If your phone records GPS coordinates, include those too.
What I look for
- A single lost glove found in a public urban space
- A photograph taken at the moment of discovery
- City and date of the find
- Address of the find, if available
Guidelines
The photograph should show the glove in its found context — on the pavement, on a railing, in the gutter. Please do not move or stage the object. The image should be sharp and taken in portrait format, in natural light and in a good resolution.
